Background

Translation

Ling – 灵– means effective or imbued with spirit.
Gui – 龟– is the turtle.
Ba – 八 –means eight and
Fa – 法 – means the method.

The common, symbolically rich, translation of Ling Gui Ba Fa can be taken as the “The Eight Methods of the Magic Turtle“.

We call the open points according to Na Jia Fa joker points in order to emphasis the great effectiveness of these points.

Na Zi Fa = Application of the Meridian Clock

Na Zi Fa is the application of the organ clock, or better the meridian clock, based on solar time. The meridian clock repeats itself in a daily rhythm.

Translation of the terms

The term Zi – 子 – represents the first earthly branch; the term Wu – 午 – represents the seventh earthly branch. They are time periods denoting midnight and noon. Liu – 流 – means flowing and Zhu – 注 – pouring. Zhen – 针 – means acupuncture.
